Seattle Police Foundation Paddle June 12th

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to send out a brief reminder concerning the upcoming Seattle Police Foundation Paddle that the Olympic Kayak Club is hosting. This event will be taking place on June 12th at Magnusson Park at Lake Washington. Please remember:
1. Launch time is 9:00 am. Paddler's meeting at 8:45 am.
2. Try to be at the park early enough to be ready to go by then.
3. Remember, if you are a club member, or have registered for the Puget Sound Challenge, you do not have to pay any extra money to paddle this event. The $30 fee is only for those folks who want to paddle this one day event and are not club members or registered for the Puget Sound Challenge.
4. Renee Hopkins tells me they have a food vendor and music lined up for the event along with some Seattle Police Foundation raffle items. We will also be giving away our first boat at this event, the Eddyline Fathom.

We are hoping for a big turnout that day and I hope to see you there to help support the Seattle Police Foundation and the water trails! So, for those of you who live across the water, here is your chance to paddle with us for a super cause. We will be taking registrations the morning of the event (get there early if you need to do that).
